Before you go
Knock these out 2–6 weeks before departure so you're not scrambling at the airport. Australian passport holders unless noted — double-check your own country's rules.
Most travellers (incl. Australia) need a Visa on Arrival (VOA / B1) — 30 days, extendable once for another 30. Cost is IDR 500,000 (~AUD $50).
Staying past 30 May → 2 June wellness? You're fine on a single VOA — full trip is ~10 days.
Practical
Don't rely on phones being waterproof in pools or saltwater.
Shorts, tee, swimwear, casual resort wear. Canggu and Ubud are busy — beach clubs may involve swimming.
